Why AIMS?
Managing an international organization or program today has major challenges. Stakeholders and donors alike insist on achievement of results. Because international organizations work indirectly with governments and other beneficiaries, demonstrating that results have been achieved has been, and continues to be difficult. Yet, unless an organization can show how programs and projects make change happen, support can be affected and improvements in delivery made more difficult.
Associates for International Management Services (AIMS) was established in 1997 to assist organizations to implement results-based management (RBM) successfully. We are a consortium of former international civil servants, NGO leaders and government officials who also have strong academic backgrounds. We are able provide technical assistance in all aspects of RBM. We address issues of strategic planning, programme implementation and monitoring and evaluation of results achieved. We have extensive practical experience and work in the main United Nations official languages.
We can be an asset for any organization wishing to improve its effectiveness.
