David Tipping is a senior international policy, planning and programme management specialist with over 20 years of leadership experience. During this time, he has managed large, complex programs and projects focused on sustainable water management, natural and resource economics, infrastructure development, global health, and humanitarian disaster recovery. As a subject matter expert in water, environment and ecologically sustainable development, he advises governments, businesses, and organizations on vision, strategic planning, and multi-stakeholder partnerships and innovation, and directs and guides complex and sophisticated projects and initiatives.
David has worked on a range of evaluations, from the local to the global levels. He is on the Board of Directors for AguaClara Reach, a not-for-profit organization that trains partners to design and deploy gravity-powered water treatment plants, and is a member of an advisory group developing a Charter for high quality multi-stakeholder partnerships. His current policy research is on global water security, sustainable development of transboundary river basin systems, and sustainable water management in the Mediterranean region.
